Not surprising, Aoi is hardly what you would call a well known ninja

It almost feels like a joke to play out the part, when you are not the starring role in someone else’s heart…

Nicknames: Blue, A-chan (both childhood nicknames, neither commonly used save for old academy friends)

Rank: Senior Genin (feel free to demote her down to genin if you prefer dependant on her stats/history and personality, Ive put her as this because of her medical background I feel would add stats to her chakra control and so forth beyond that of a regular genin)
Clan: No known clan, though she does have a well known Jounin as a sibling and as her father is unknown, there is rumours here and there about her connections to various clans, largely in Kiri, but also Konoha (I wont list as they aren’t any canon or that have been created by others)
Kekkai Genkai: Aoi has the unique and possibly useless genkai of the ability to communicate mentally with animals. There is actual potential here for this to become useful, however she has yet to find a way to make it relevant, and is shy about letting others in on the secret as it has often been scorned by other shinobi as a weak and worthless ability (her sister being one.). As this is not a known genkai to Suna, she can only assume she inherited it from her father

Physical Appearance: Aoi has long blue hair and teal eyes, her colouring just one of the many things that make her stand out as forgein in Suna. She is a small petite girl, standing at about 5’2 with a willowy shape.

Extra Marks: None regularly visible, but she does poses scars over her chest where her first mission as a genin went wrong, resulting in the death of her sensei and cell mates, and her own severe injury and trauma

How Did You Become Who You Are Today?

I never sent for love, I never had a heart to mend
Because before the start began, I always saw the end

Family: Currently just her older sister Kin, but previously her mother Ayami as well.

Backstory:
(Just a few points I forgot to add in: Ayami, Aoi’s mother returned home pregnant from a mission and always refused to speak of her father, causing rife rumours, Kin is her child to her former marriage. Aoi’s genkai manifested at a young age, but was generally ignored and kept quiet as it was deemed useless, however Ayami also may have had her own reasons for wanting it kept secret. Kin like everyone else is clueless as to Aoi’s paternity)
Aoi was orphaned at a relatively young age, her mother dying from an illness when she was only eight, leaving her in the sole care of her older sister Kin, a chunin at the time but already one that was earmarked for great things as she swiftly rose through the ranks and gained notice from her higher ups. Unlike Aoi, Kin is a harsh individual, the classic Suna shinobi, cold calculating and highly skilled, stopping at nothing to get the mission completed. Even as an academy student it was obvious that Aoi could not be less like her sister, her shy, sweet nature completely at odds with the shinobi lifestyle, however pressured by the expectations of those around her, her sister not being the least, she insisted on continuing with her training and despite all odds actually succeeded in the end at becoming a genin. However after the trauma of her first mission, a D class out of village that went wrong resulting in her own almost death and the slaughter of the rest of her companions, Aoi lost what little confidence she had in her abilities and became pathologically afraid of leaving the village. Unwilling to let her sister continue as a shell, Kin pulled strings with a former cel mate and managed to have her taken on as a medic student, something that she showed great aptitude for. It was her position as a medic and her dislike of violence that has caused Aoi to remain as a genin despite her advanced age, however now at the pushing of her sister she has finally made it back into active duty, being assigned as a support and medic to her new team.
