" Sure thing, sounds like a nice place to chat. I'm free now that I've finished up with my squad members."
"They work us like slaves, don't they?" Hina replied casually, before sensing another swirl of thick sandstorm. She moved swiftly and gladly towards the drinkery with Suzue by her side. There was a trace of some knowledge that Suzue seemed to only know herself in her reply, and Hina put aside a small mental note to be wary for something... whatever it was.
Hina had only closed the heavy door of the tavern when her instincts were made true, and a long gust of gritty wind whipped past. She let out a small sigh of relief, and dropped herself into the nearest available seat. The jonin ordered shochu for herself and quickly received a highball glass of the clear liquid - ice cold with its sides dripping slick with condensation. Hina raised it level to her mouth, playing its cold rim against her bottom lip, and looked meaningfully at Suzue. "To Suna." She murmured softly, tipping the tall glass in the air before returning it eagerly to her lips, drinking through the block of ice inside. The shochu served owned an intensely sweet taste and had an immediate intoxicating effect. Hina drained her glass of the last drop, lips tingling, without taking a moment of nerving herself for the hard liquor.
"Sorry, just a moment..." The empty glass was set on the table with a small thud before it was filled again with another generous helping of shochu (the waitress casted Hina a questioning look).
"This stuff's gonna be the death of me," The lavender-haired woman laughed softly, emptying the glass once more. The second glass of the colourless drink gave her the sensation of being hit bluntly at the back of her head, which she strangely adored.
Hina forgot completely about the mental note she had made just before entering the little drinkery and about comparing notes of their seperate lives as jonin.
