Chewing down the last bit of food in his mouth, C would wipe his face with a napkin, and look amongst the three at the table. He was serious in saying they would all learn the lariat. Knowing it himself, he knew that if all of them knew how to perform the technique, then the double lariat would be their signature combo.
"Yes, we shall all know the lariat, and as a team we shall perform the double lariat." C paused in his speech, letting the team of his soak in the information for a second. "I personally want to learn all the moves the great Raikages before our time knew. Those jutsu passed down one by one to each respective Raikage. And then some. I want my students to share that goal."

Miak felt somewhat uneasy about not remembering what the Lariat was.. It wasn't likely that she'd ask again since she was probably going to find out one way or another.
Aaaand it appeared the Hakushi had already given up on the game. Damn.
After pushing herself back, she leaned against the back on the seat, just letting her eyes shift from one person to the other. While the conversation carried questions rose that she would not have the answers to just yet. The only thing left as a distraction to her was the heavenly fragrance of coffee coming from somewhere in the restaurant. Her eyes narrowed quickly, but gradually, honing in on the smell as goose bumps riddled her arms and her pupils grew somewhat in size.

From the sounds of what C was saying to the three of them, he had some pretty big expectations. After all, of all of the things that Hakushi wouldn't expect of a sensei to their new group it was wanting them to learn the techniques of the Raikage, much less a combo that they say was even difficult for Killer Bee himself. " Wow that's pretty big. Wonder where we'd even begin. Thank you sensei!" He responds, getting back into the swing of their bet realizing that he had skipped a beat. Something like this was huge though he couldn't imagine where they'd get into how it was done, especially with Killer Bee currently out of the village.

Sounded like the three of them would have a lot to learn from there on out. From what she had heard of the Double Lariat, the users had to remain completely in sync for the attack to work. Given their different styles, they would all have to find some kind of common footing to do it. " Something like that's gonna take a lot of practice given out different taijutsu styles." Amaya would say thinking over just how each of them used their own taijutsu. Amaya wondered where Cloud would find enough in common that they could pull it off. It would certainly be no easy task that was for sure.
"Step one would be to learn the lariat. Once you all learn how to do such a move we will then work on becoming in sync for the double lariat." C paused, clasping his hands together in front of his body as he spoke. He was sure of this, all of them would learn the lariat and then some. "The key is to match our speed, and thrusting power. To be in sync with someone is to feel their energy and match it. Everyone can sense chakra, but its a matter of identifying that chakra, who owns it, and how strong it is, is the key." Taking a moment for the group to soak up the information C would stand, tossing a stack of money on to the table with a few good sized coins. Enough to pay for the meal and then some. "Come, we have a mission to do."

Miak hadn't had a taste of barbecue sauce, but, she figured she'd be fine. She always carried a little bit of candy with her in a small bag anyways.. Sometimes coffee beans as well, but those were for emergencies. Too bad those tended to also be tempting as well. That would be a scary though, going ballistic like that in front of her team. Those who hadn't the slightest idea of what caffeine tended to do to her. Sugar alone was bad enough. Just thinking of it could, at times, give her a bit of an energetic buzz.
The Lariat. Hnt.. She couldn't place the name of it. It was a Taijutus move, one taught to every Raikage.
Feh. I have a horrible time with names.
You should probably work on that.
No one asked you, second opinion.
Becoming in sync with them might be challenging. C was already a tough act to follow. She had speed, but the other two also had strengths Miak lacked. Maybe that was a good thing? Where one was weak, another was strong and could cover for their lack while that same person aids them with their own setbacks.
"Mission?" Wow, he didn't mess around. "What mission is that?" Earlier, even as she fidgeted, she'd felt as though the day's end was trying to tug at her. Now with coffee's aroma trying to coax her to drink from its dark, manipulative depths, she felt wide awake, alert and a little on edge. Her eyes were wide and her eye brows raised. Definitely visible against the scorch marks her face still bore.

From the sounds of how C described the Double Lariat, it was sure to be something complex to learn. They had to figure how to get both their speed and chakra in sync which meant some lowering their own or others training to increase theirs. It was no wonder that it was something of a rarity within the village considering having to have another who matched up perfectly enough for it to work. Definitely a complex piece of taijutsu.
The conversation took a sudden turn at the mention of them having a mission already. Hakushi guessed that with something like that their little game was over. " Wasn't expecting them to give us a mission so soon. What's the job?" He asks wondering what came up so suddenly for them to be assigned a mission.

Amaya had known already that the Double Lariat would give them a challenge but the way that Cloud described it, it was on a completely different level. Getting the three of them to get perfectly in sync was going to take a lot, especially with their different levels of strength and speed. It was doable but would take some time.
Amaya's focus would then change at the next subject that Cloud brought up. " A mission? Didn't we just do a mission earlier today?" Amaya would ask remembering their earlier mission. They seemed to be keeping her plenty busy today.
"As Shinobi of Kumgakure, or job is to execute the missions handed to us without flaw." C paused, and decided that he could tell them what the mission was before walking out the door.
"The mission is called 'Raikage is Hungry!' and our job is to travel to Konohagakure can get the finest bowl of Ichiruka ramen, seal it, and bring it back to Bee-Sama. Naruto-Sama has been bragging about how good it is to Bee-Sama, so he's been dying to try it." C held the door open for everyone to exit through. "So lets go fill another empty stomach!"
Throwing a fist into the air, C would put on a wide smile. Happy to know that he could be of aid in making it so the one person he feared was not hungry. And if this went smoothly then maybe he could ask about a little bump up in his own personal training.

Well, obviously she missed the mission. That must have been what they were up to before they showed up at the Training Grounds.
As C began talking and briefing them on their mission, Miak leaned forward. The beginning of this sounded rather important.. Official. What would it be? A rescue mission, already? Naw.. They have to go and retrieve some sort of artifact?? An intelligence mission? Her eyes were slowly widening and the questioning excitement dropped in confusion when C announced its title.
Feh. This guy seriously needs to learn how to not portray mixed messages.

Hakushi looks to C listening to the info that he gave them on their upcoming mission. From the sounds of things this was definitely something unorthodox considering that they had just been instructed to basically get food from another village for the Raikage. Sounded to him like they were essentially going to be glorified delivery service. ~Well on the bright side of things, getting to travel to Konoha is going to be the furthest that we've ever gotten to go. Should be something to see how their village runs.~ He thinks to himself more interested in getting to see another shinobi village than the mission itself. It didn't seem like anything too hard so chances were that the rank wasn't too high. It'd probably go off without a hitch.

Amaya would be almost left speechless at just what their mission was. A mission to deliver food. What are the odds that the first mission under Cloud would involve food? I swear at this rate I'm never gonna want to look at food again. Amaya would think to herself feeling underwhelmed about their mission. At very least there was no way that they could run into trouble with something that simple.
Amaya would stand up from their booth, stretching from having sat there for so long. " Well guess we should get going with this before Bee-sama gets too hungry." Amaya would say almost being unable to believe that those words actually came out of her mouth.
Sensing everyone's thoughts from the expressions their faces held, C would take a moment to think to himself about the whole mission. There were plenty of positives in it, mostly a journey to a new land. The three of them didn't seem to know much about other villages so a trip to another one would be helpful in their education.
"While we're there we will learn all we can from the Konoha citizens. Learn their ways, their clans, their heritage. It would be like a tour. So think well of this mission." C's voice was loud and clear as he led the way on to the streets of Kumogakure.
