The next jutsu he had to learn is a very important jutsu ofr him to learn as this one can probably save him from many unsightly situations. The body flicker jutsu should allow him to move ten meters approximately in a couple of seconds. So he made the necessary hand signs and tried the jutsu, it was another simple jutsu, yet he still wasn't able to get ti down on the first move as the first time he did it he was kind of phased and tripped when he tried to run again.
This little event wouldn't stop him so he kept at it. His persistence would not falter. For he had a burning passion to do some intense training and these justu's were just the beggining . It was like his warm-ups before the real training. He had done it a few time and he was able to move about eight meter with no concentration breaks are mess ups. On his tenth he finally reached ten meters without messing up afterwards or at the start.
The next one was incredibly unique as it wouldn't be ninjujtsu or any taijutsu. Genjutsu which affects the mind. This would be the first time he would try to do a genjutsu. He was confident that he could master it. He started with the hand sign for the snake. Holding it in position. The leaves began to move but didn't swirl.
He began to think for a while, for why it didn't work and then it struck him maybe he needs a living thing to practice it on. After all this one affects primarily the target. Not that there was anyone to train on so he didn't have that luxury. So he just kept doing it until the leaves swirled around like a tornado that was going to start up. The leaves really did spin though which should probably be a good sign for him.
Raiken sat down for a moment and rested before getting back uo for his next jutsu. This was one he had thought of himself while in the chunin exams so it was perfect that he had enough time to try and use it. He walked over to the falls of truth and dipped his sword in the water. The water stuck to it like the sword was a bucket. With that much water on it this would work really good for him. He put his chakra into his sword and slashed in an awkward way that made him look like a fool. Of course this was not the way to do it and it failed miserably. The water splashed to the ground.
He dipped his blade into the water yet again and lifted out as the water was well surrounding it. He thought for a moment as he looked up to the sky. He tried yet again this time he simply held his arm out and moved his arm form right to left as the water began to roll of and become still for a while. Well that was before it colapsed on itself. It needed something to hold itself up or it wouldn't work. But he know knew how to do it perfectly.
His confidence was still high so he kept going. But before he continued he thought to get a drink of water. He drank some from the falls of truth it was cold and like all water wet , he laughed a bit at that thought. Then he stopped as he realized that was the first time he had laughed in a long time, it had been like six or seven years since he laughed. He thought he had never even had the feeling for it. He put his hand into the water grabbed some and squeezed tight until his hand began to hurt then looked up to the sky the sun was still high. "Wait the sun, its a circle that is perfect it will work fine. So he got back up and this time he swung his sword in hi hand like hi was twirling a scythe.
It stood still and it covered his whole body which was good now he had to test it. He walked over to the other side of it and threw shurikens at it. IT worked the wall didn't drop it stood tall. Then eh went and slashed it, unbelievable he was still to weak for it to block anything more then a couple thrown items. The whole wall collapsed like a house after you take out the one block that's stops it form falling down, if such thing were possible. Well it was still better then a wall that lasted a couple seconds or one that didn't work at all.
He thought about that last jutsu, the water surface technique. This gave him inspiration for another jutsu. What if he could project his image onto the water so his opponent would think that he was hiding behind it but he was actually not. But how was the question. So he tried standing next to it for a little bit then did a few experiments of his won but nothing happened. This needed a lot more though then he thought.
He decided to get less scientifically knowledgeable about this natter. This time he focused his chakra into freezing the image of him on the other side in place. This was much more effective then what he was trying to do. But the surface didn't handle it very well it still didn't look right.
He kept trying to do it constantly over and over again. His chakra was nearly coming to its end. So he sat down and rested for a while while he recovered his chakra. There was nothing this time that could inspire him this time. He looked everywhere but it was confirmed that there was nothing that could help him. He went back tot he water surface and relaxed as he let his chakra go into it all nice and calm then he bent down and picked up a shuriken he accidentally cut himself and he could feel goosebumps go over him while he was still putting chakra into the surface. This time the when he knocked it gently the water moved but the image did .... nothing.
So from that point on he kept that up but do this was pretty hard he would have to change his chakra flow in a different way at the right time, otherwise the image may be wrong like maybe a bit to clear or too hard to look at like the person standing behind it was a mile away. He practice don slowly making his chakra flow through all over the water then suddenly stopping its motion so the image would stop. This proved to be right and it definitely worked good so for now he would leave it.
After days of travelling, Shi would lead Miak and herself to the great Island turtle. Finding a waterfall which C spoke of she would look at it and think, 'This shall become our home, for now.' So, with instructions given to Miak for her to sit under the waterfall and meditate with the waters pounding on her body, Shi would go off in search of food. The hunt was on.
Miak would seem to have trouble at first when it came to sitting under the falls still, but after many attempts she would find her place, and hold her position still under the waters. Meditating. Entering her mind.
Shi returned with a dead boar, Kunai sticking out of his chest making it for a clean kill. Preparing a meal, and readied for the night, the two would eat and talk. Discussing their life stories. Shi's being a short one, but Miaks being one that was more interesting and in depth.
Days past, Shi and Miak trained. The two of them going hand to hand as they fought each other. There was no stopping them now. Shi began to teach Miak some of her Fire Jutsu, letting her learn the abilities that she knew. Shi was a master at the fire style, her fire jutsu being ones that could annihilate a small village in one blow. Miak now learned these.
Several weeks past, and Miak was beginning to master her new fire style. There was so much she was learning from one person. She was growing too. Her hair getting longer, skin getting darker, hands becoming more rough, and body more toned.
Shi started to stop holding back in their spars, there was no stopping her now. Whenever she saw an opening in Miak she would take it.
In one spar Miak was kicked so hard in the chest that she went flying into a tree, the tree breaking dead center from the blow Miak gave to it.
Shi would not make a sound when she saw this, but instead would slowly lower her leg, looking at Miak.
"What did you learn from that?"
Was a phrase she always asked, whenever Miak lost Shi would simply ask what did you learn from that. Shi was a good teacher, she wanted nothing but for her student to succeed. Time was coming to a draw though. It was almost time to take on the beast inside. But Miak just wasn't ready.
Months past, and Miak was looking older than before. She was a whole new girl now. She was stern, rougher around the edges, stronger. In a spar with Shi, Shi was actually forced to block a round house from Miak, but in that block she was tripped by a sweeping kick. Her sharingan wasn't able to keep up with the speed that Miak was going at.

Upon getting on the Island Turtle Kaihime would make her way to the Falls of Truth. She would then find the nearest tall tree jump on one of its branches then proceed to sleep only to be awaken shortly after hearing the sound of people training. Kaihime quickly looked over and saw someone. She was surprised by this which made her jump and lose grip on the branch. "Ow!"She said loudly after falling and hitting her head on the floor. She then quickly got back up and hid behind the closest tree hoping no one would notice or find her.
Pushing herself up she would nod towards Miak, showing approval for the moves that she put on her. But.. Something was amiss. There was a sound, the sound of falling through trees to the ground. Someone was watching.
"Miak, return to the waterfall and continue your meditation training."
Miak nodded and went off over the waters from the shore to the falls itself.
"You can come out, I wont bite. Hard."
Shi took a few steps and turned herself to face the sound, her sharingan in her eyes, the chakra of someone showing strong through openings in the brush.
