His own breathing seemed to cease as he prepared for an upcoming attack. His feet at the ready to move at a moment's notice, he listened for the sounds. "You know, I'm not a big fan of water. [Suishigetsu Hōzuki]

Droplets continued i nthe surrounding area, he knew all too well that this Sound Shinobi was no pushover by this point. The Hōzuki was confident in his own ability, but he needed to be cautious, it wasn;t often he found a worthy opponent, especially against this ability of his he had formed from his Kekkai Genkai. Having let moments... Minutes pass by, droplets continued teasing this Shinobi within his Mist as he, himself had began raising from the waters at a suitable blind point, North East-South from the opponent, he was slightly to one side, the bulged muscles of this arm raising the huge blade silently from the waters, he was one with it after all, unfortunately for the Shinobi not a single sound, ripple or droplet made from this direction.

Giving him the benfit of the doubt, a droplet formed from his blade, purposely giving his position away to try and 'mask' that he'd do such a thing, as if it was all part of the distraction still. Raising his left, hydrificated hand, would be a bubble, attempting to suddenly wrap around the Shinobi's face. This would be in an attempt to drown him with the Hydrification: Blob Technique, with the boost of natural water, he still held a normal body, while splitting off and attempting to distract Naki long enough. The executioner's blade was risen, ready for it's.. Execution, "Water is far too underestimated..." Suishigetsu's response would be short for Naki, intent on bringing a swift end to this duel as he was seriously disadvantaged, whether Naki knew or not. The blade was brought down, not to the head, but the shoulder of Naki, to slash straight vertical, so that this match wouldn't end in death - a very rare occurance as Suishigetsu was notiously merciless with his history of battle, but Naki was a 'ambassador' of sorts... If this was all successful, the Mist Shinobi would be stood above the surface, the blade hitting the water's skin as it had been brought down in a powerful sweep of the heavy blade.

While the young boy perhaps had him beat in physical power, Naki was definitely faster with his sword. As the bubble detached, Naki used the sword sheathe as a dagger, instinctively slicing at it. As the sword came down, its sharp edged sliced the air, giving away the brat's position for a single instant. In that instant the sword's heat blazed to heats above 100º C, boiling the surrounding water. Naki, pivoted slightly to the left as the sound of the blade had been heard from the North East. If the heat of the blade was not enough to slow down the water based Hozuki then Naki wasn't sure what would.[/style]

[Suishigetsu Hōzuki]

The bubble, unfortunately for Naki had been burst into two sections, the fire chakra of the sword more suited to combatting this, however, the next action may save him from the persuing water still, now two sections, sent toward his head. The young Hōzuki had continued with his assault, he was not allowed, no way, to allow this Sound Shinobi to best a Kirigakure Hōzuki in this aspect, he wouldn't be this disgraced! Although he felt strongly, motivated to win, it all came down to this inevitable clash of blades.

The legendary Executioner met the Cherry with a loud 'bshhhkk!', flames literally sparking from the connection as the two Shinobi clashed within the middle of the fog, the transparent water figure now coming to more texture and visibility of his Human features. The purple eyes stared burning with murderous intent, as their holding of eachother soon was met with the continued momentum, the weight included with his combined strength. The water empowering his body, the muscular enhancement, the blade suddenly broke, a clean slide from the lava chakra shortening the blade down to a mere quarter of it's original, overwhelming size. Now a small weapon, the power behind it flung like a catapult, soaring downward and still, intent on creating the wound, much more shallower if successful however, the blade would, from shoulder to hip, be sent vertical, his body following and ending up in it's knelt position after attempting to drag down through the flesh, rendering Naki's body open if possible, "Garrghnnn! Do not look down upon the Hōzuki!" He'd cry out as a final 'battle cry', hoping to end this duel here with this, was his advantage used?! Only this ending moment could find out! Panting he'd land upon the surface, no longer connected to the lake.

However, that was not all he did. Taking advantage of having an object in both hands, and in a motion continuing from his previous, he sprung up, his sword meeting the Hozuki's at an angle as the heat continued to increase, heating up the air.[/style]

Unable to postpone this any further, he couldn't afford to, in fact. Suishigetsu would throw his reforming left hand back into the fray, the swords' sizzling, the second slice beginning to extend through the width of the Executioner's blade, to slice off yet another layer, yet he knew he couldn't fight like this now he had confronted him, he was sure to lose. Looking to Naki, his face showing clear signs of upholding the power against this stronger Shinobi, "I congratulate you for this much... However..." A Hōzuki was unable to say not to look down on the Hōzuki without displaying it's Kekkai Genkai - successfully atleast.

Keeping this position, he'd hold the blade before water wrapped around it's hilt, his Kekkai Genkai now being used, resorting to his last trick he thought he could do with the limitations they both had, his body bursting into water, all of the built up momentum now forcing water to attempt to cover Naki, in fact, encasing him within the body of Sisuigetsu, using the lake they were both stood upon as an empowerment and attempt to force a tomb of water to surround him, all while the blade had poked within the water, not anything to pierce Naki, but enough to have a water-leakage in the tomb, of blood to begin reforming it, if possible... Though, this was his last piece of work, he couldn't keep this fight up, especially since Samehada's gift wasn't a generous one, he'd be depleted of chakra with victory through means of non-swordsmanship or if dragged out any longer, defeat.

He was impressed by the Hozuki's determination but disappointed in the Hozuki's swordsmanship skills. The yound Hozuki definitely had the capacity to become a strong swordsman. "That's enough, I would think. You've more than proven your strength, Hozuki." His smile was on but there seemed to be something about his eyes that suggested that the spar should end here lest things get worse. His admiration could only go so far.[/style]

"Welcome to the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist...both of you" She would say as she picked up what was left of Kubikiribocho. She would then offer Samehada to Naki as he had won the battle. [Suishigetsu Hōzuki]

Suishigetsu would stop for the moment, the hilt still clasped tightly within his palm, holding tightly and forming properly into a Humanoid shape, stepping upon the water's his gaze had lost it's focus-point of the last dozen of minutes, he had been completely focussed until now, he was quite displeased clearly with his expression. Agreeing fully, he was panting heavily and ready to have been dropped on the spot. "Y-Yes... Thank you.... Very well handled, I haven't had trouble like that before.." The Clansman admitted, he knew exactly what he did wrong in that battle and felt like he had failed the Executioner's blade, especially as he hadn't regenerated it at all.

As Eiko had approached, his right hand had risen, the Hōzuki offering the hilt toward his mentor, "Are.. Are you serious, sensei? I-... I am finally approved?" The voice would be timid to begin with, yet a huge relief felt fading from him. "A---... S-Sensei.. I am truly grateful! I will not disappoint you, never!" The Hōzuki,proved his appreciation, having his head bowed deeply and respectfully to his official sensei now.

Shisuigetsu would bow his head in his sensei's direction, lowering himself in complete respect, he was a bit of a unfriendly person but respect and honor was important when it involved something he truly felt for.

"Your's... Sensei.." Despite the inexperience, each time he weilded his sensei's blade in training he couldn't help but admire the future of his ability combined with that sword could create. Although he had said this, he knew the situation well, and he knew first hand (as they're much easier to steal without an owner) which swords had yet to be claimed. "I work exceptionally well with many so far, although I need to adjust myself with experience... I hold high respects... And have learnt that I need to be even silenter than a sword... The needler is what I believe would be most suited to my blooded-mist combination." His own nickname for the method of killing he takes, using his Kekkai Genkai to his advantage.
