" Very well Ayame. i know that you have an affinity to water, and while I may not be able to teach you the jutsu, I can however tell you the handsign," Orochi responds admitting that he himself couldn't use it as he didn't have the affinity for it. " Now pay close attention to the handsigns that I do." Finishing his statement, Orochi begins a small set of handsigns while Ayame watches on, taking in the handsigns and committing them to memory. It would now be up to her to learn the jutsu from what she now knew about it.
Having payed close attention to the handsigns that Orochi showed her in how to perform the Mizu Buushin, Ayame knows that she'll need some water in order to be able to even try out the jutsu. Thinking for a minute, she'd be struck by an idea of how she could get the water that she needed to perform the technique. Performing a set of handsigns, Ayame uses her Mizurappa, spitting a torrent of water onto the rooftop. While it wasn't all that much, it was still enough to work with.
Doing the handsigns that Orochi had shown her, Ayame focuses her chakra into the mass of water, attempting to change its shape. She had to admit that the formation of a solid clone was a lot more difficult than creating any kind of matterless clone. Focusing the water, she tries to get it to take on her personal image. With her focus on the water, the water begins to take on her shape, but isn't able to hold together and splatters back into a puddle.
Trying to think of a way to keep her clone solid, she turns to Orochi's advice. " I can't seem to get the clone to remain in its solid form. It just seems to keep reverting back to water." She says wanting some advice from him. Even if he couldn't do the jutsu, he could probably give her the advice she needed.
" Since it's a solid clone that you're dealing with, try to imagine it as a mirror image of yourself rather than the material you're molding it from and keep focused on that." Orochi responds explaining the problem that Ayame seemed to be having with her jutsu.
" Alright, I'll give it a go sensei," She responds listening to his advice wishing to attempt the Mizu Buushin a second time. Performing the handsigns again, she would follow the instruction that Orochi had given her. Rather than imagining the clone as being a being of water, she instead imagines it as a mirror image of herself, as if she was looking into a mirror. Focusing her chakra into the water, it begins once again to change in shape and size. Molding to her form, it begins to gain not just her shape, but her human features as well. Soon enough, the clone stands next to her physically indistinguishable from the original.
Wishing to now test out just what her Mizu Buuishin could do, she decides to have it perform its own skills. The clone does a set of handsigns, spitting forth a burst of water towards Ayame, who quickly dodges to the left of the burst. The clone then takes out a kunai from her own pouch and charges at her, swiping at her with it. Acting quickly to the attack, Ayame ducks the attack, pivoting on her leg and drawing a kunai of her own, swiping its side. At the moment that it took the hit, the clone returns to its original state of water. "It's got all of my moves as well. That'll definitely come in handy in the exam." She says thankful for having learned this new jutsu.
" Orochi-sensei, do you think you could show me the handsigns for the Water Prison Jutsu?" Ayame asks wondering if he also knew the handsigns to that jutsu so she could try learning that as well.
" I can help you with that jutsu as well. Being from the Mist, I've seen it many times. Now pay close attention." Orochi responds nodding his head confirming that he had the knowledge of the jutsu and could help her out with it. Finishing up his statement, he'd begin to perform the handsigns of the jutsu one by one, naming them out for her with each handsign.
Ayame keeps a close eye on the the handsigns as he does them once again committing them them to memory. Once she sees each of the handsigns down, she then slowly begins to do each of the handsigns herself repeating them back for each handsign that she does. Once she completes this process a few times over, she commits the exact handsigns to her memory, finding that she is ready to try out the jutsu herself.
Having memorized the handsigns for the Water Prison, Ayame decides to try the jutsu for herself. Walking over to the water that was left over from her dispersed Mizu Bushin, she forms the set of handsigns that Orochi had shown her not too long before. Reaching out towards the puddle of water, she focuses her water chakra to it, attempting to manipulate the shape of the water into that of a sphere extending out just beyond her wrist. Picturing in her mind, a powerful prison, the water becomes drawn to her hand, swirling around until taking on the shape of a sphere. While she saw that it was the correct shape, she needed to try it out.
Needing somehting to try out her Water Prison on, Ayame decides that ti's best to attempt it with a Mizu Buushin instead of a human. Performing a set of handsigns, she forms a second Mizu Buushin from the water left behind from her other clone's Mizurappa. Bringing her over to the water from her previous clone, she starts a set of handsigns for her Water Prison. From the water on the ground, a sphere of water envelops her, trapping her within. " Alright, now move naturally. I want to see how it holds up." She says wanting to see if the prison functioned correctly.
Watching her clone inside the prison, she'd see that it seemed to be able to resist the water , still being able to move leading her to wonder what she had missed in the formation. It seemed that she still had that much left to figure out.
Thinking back into both what she had seen and heard about the Water Prison, Ayame tries to figure just what she had been missing in her jutsu that still allowed for the clone to be able to move while under the jutsu. From what they said about the jutsu, it was said to be stronger than steel. That seemed to be the very thing that she was missing in her prison, while she was able to focus on the shape, she had ignored the durability from the inside as well as the amount of water needed for it.
Doing another set of handsigns, she spits forth a mass torrent of water around the clone's feet before following up with the handsigns for Water Prison. From around the clone, the water would begin to rise and swirl taking on the form of a sphere entrapping the clone within. This time around however, when the clone attempts to move within the prison, it finds that it holds it still. " Works perfectly now. I think I've got all that I need for the next round. I just need to get some things ready for the tournament. Thank you sensei." She says gratefully heading off from the rooftop of the hospital and down to the streets.
In do time the two finally arrived at the Kumogakure Hospital. There they could finally find the medical specialist that they needed to preform the operation. In the lobby stood Shi, alongside Kaihime. Shi's armor clanked as she came to a hault and crossed her arms. With a puff of air from her cheeks she would look to the nearest available nurse and wave her over. Quickly the nurse was right in front of the two asking what was needed of her.
"We've come here to have surgery."
Shi paused, and pointed up to her left eye, Sharingan active as usual.
"See this eye? Switch it with one of hers."
With that sentence finished Shi pointed over to Kaihime. The nurse of course, was shocked more than anything.
Shi stared down the nurse with serious crimson red eyes. This wasn't something she was joking with, and even though she wasn't part of this village it was a hospital after all. Shortly after the stare down the nurse left and returned with a Shinobi whom worked in the hospital that was highly skilled in surgery based needs. Handing Shi and Kaihime a clipboard, respectively to each, the two of them began to fill out the forms. The questions on the form were simple, name, village, reason for being here, allergies, so on. Something someone would normally fill out when seeing someone in the hospital.
Minutes passed and the two were guided out of the lobby and into a room where they were instructed to change into gowns. A locked held their gear, Shi's armour, Kaihime's weapons, all that stuff. Looking like they belonged in the hospital now the two were guided once again to a new room, an operating room with two beds side by side with only about two feet in the center for the surgeon to move around through.
It was time for the operation.
Put under a genjutsu that made them fall into a deep sleep the medical shinobi began to bring them under the knife. First he removed Shi's left eye, and then removed Kaihime's left eye. Placing them into a special liquid, seperate jars the man started to clean out each eye hole preparing for the final step of the surgery.
Hours passed during this operation, the medical shinobi ever so careful to make sure every cut, stitch, and wipe was perfect. And finally, it came to light.
Kaihime, and Shi both woke in a shared hospital bed room wrapped around the left side of their heads. Shi woke first. Shi could feel the new power she held in Kaihime's eye. She smirked widely. Raising her left hand to the bandages she would remove the wraps, and in a mirror accross the room along the wall Shi saw that her left eye was now grey at the pupil. Taking up a seal with her right hand now, sitting up straight in the bed Shi activated her new Byakugan, and the Hospital in its whole came into vision. Through the walls she saw patients, nurses, doctors, Shinobi, etc walking around. Outside she could see the flowerbeds that trailed around the building. Focusing harder on each individual in the building she found she could see their respective chakra systems in greater detail than just a signature in color, strength, amount, etc. Something her Sharingan could never achieve with this detail.
"Wonderful." Shi mumbled to herself knowing that she would never have to hide this eye from the world. Activating her sharingan she would deactivate the Byakugan and head off out of the bed and into the closet at the end of the room near the door to find her gear. Getting dressed now she slowly placed all her gear on.

Kaihime felt light headed after the surgery. She sat up in the hospital bed and made a small opening to the bandages on her left eye and left her eye exposed for a while. Her vision in her left eye wasn't blocked she could see everything for the time being. She was now open to many new abilities such as being able to track fast moving objects and predicting next attack to automatically counter-attack or dodge without any wasted movement. She felt way stronger then before but as Kaihime kept her left eye exposed for a long period of time blood started slowly pouring out of her eye. Kaihime quickly covered the opening in the eye by wrapping the loose bandages over it.
"Looks like I better get used to seeing with one eye when I'm not in any kind of combat." Kaihime said to herself as she slowly got up from the hospital bed then she proceeded to drag herself all the way to where they put all her gear and put all of it on slowly then she went back to her hospital bed and sat for a few minutes to see if her head would feel better. She laid on the hospital bed for a little while till she started feeling better.
"Hey Shi I'm gonna go out for abit wait for me here kay?"
Kaihime then decided to go out and revitalize herself with a new look she decided to go out for a few and buy some new clothes and even dye her hair a different color. After that she went back to Shi and waited to see where there next move would be.
