At the center of the Island Turtle is a cavern lit by torches. While at first glance it may seem like a normal cavern, in reality a stadium is built into the walls of the cavern. It is here that the preliminaries of the Chuunin Exams are held should enough Genin make it.
Haru continues on walking towards the stadium unsure of just how to answer Dargan's concerns. " I know, but we've gotta keep going for Nahako. Otherwise she'll have sacrificed herself for nothing." He responds, having lost the excitement for the exam. However in spite of this feeling, he couldn't bring himself to give up in the exams otherwise her sacrifice would have been in vein. He had found that he wasn't so good with consoling his teammate, especially since he knew that Dargan had lost those he cared for before then when his parents died. " And don't think about had you died in her place. She wouldn't want that."

"But if it had been me....Then at least she would have been alive. She had a lot more people living and caring for her than I ever did....I want to go on for her....But I don't know if I have the will power or strength to do so now that we have last someone so close to us....I just can't bear...This heavy burden in my chest. I feel like I am to blame for this. I have this feeling....that after this....they will just try and replace her...and act like she was never a part of this team." Dargan would say, feeling hurt at the thought.
" If it had been you or even me, there's a chance that none of us would still be alive. She sacrificed her life and in the process, made sure that we'd live..." Haru responds feeling as though he should cry in his sorrow, but that he needed to hide it and be strong for the both of them. No matter what happened, he couldn't let Dargan give up on himself. Otherwise Nahako's sacrifice would have been for nothing. " She was more than just our teammate. She was our friend. No one can ever take her place no matter what they do." She had fulfilled the very answer she'd given back during the first part of the exam; she willingly gave her life for her teammates. As the two walk, they'd come to the entrance of the stadium where the preliminaries awaited.

"She was too young to die.....Why do they even make us take these dangerous tests? It's so stupid!" Dargan would say, clenching his fists a little. "This just can't be true....I just wish this was some sort of bad nightmare....But it's not...It's reality." Dargan would continue as they walked up to the entrance. "We're here.....But do you really think we can pass? I feel like I don't have the strength to fight anymore. That blow to me has killed my passion for this exam."

Riaken arrived at the center of the turtle looking back to check that his cousin was behind him, which he was. He soon spot someone go into the cave, so he followed assuming that was the place to go. He was slowly regaining his chakra; he had never used that much demon chakra at once, actually for that matter he didn't think he used the seven-winged wolf's chakra until that point. He walked into the hidden stadium at a normal dramatic pace, of which his foot steps were louder then normal but maybe it was just super hearing.
Lelouch followed Raiken the whole way until they got to the stadium. He then proceeded to push/drag into a place not so crowded so he could discuss Liom's death. "We need to talk about Liom's death, we both know its bothering you, i know I am making a selfish request but please wait until the exam is over to do anything, like build a proper burial or show any feeling about it. There are others in this exam who will take advantage if your feelings and prompt you to mess up. I don't want to see you fail because someone tricked you into it, keep your wits about you and win at all costs, because I will try my best to do the same, and if we do perhaps have to fight each other then .... i look forward to a truly grand fight," he whispered to Riaken giving off a giant smile.
ooc;; Please post your genin and Jounin entering inside the stadium. Jounin will be in a sky view point along with the other genin whom are not fighting. The beginning posting order will be as follows.
"Anarchy, anbukurono, asator, Dawning Wolf, | |\/| P R O \/, raiken0kuroshi, TheRealMyth, Ronin, Rothailithin, Sondiame, Soren, vanessa ☮"
Yes this is alphabetical order. But after w start the first fight we shall make it so that we keep this posting order but whoever controls the fighters fight. So say raiken0kuroshi's char was fighting asator's char. asator would go first then raiken0kuroshi. They will continue posting until one of the rules are met, or I end the fight.
Once everyone is in here I shall post as Powa doing his proctor thing.
Haru listens to everything that Dargan says, understanding full well just what he felt. " Even if we don't feel the same way about the exams, we have to find the strength to keep going," Haru responds walking into the stadium with Dargan. Despite the tough burden of the situation, he didn't let it show for Dargan's sake. It was here now that he could see just the kind of burden that comes with being a leader. " We have to do this for Nahako, even if that's the only thing that keeps either of us going."
Rikuto awoke inside the Arena with the rest of his team. "What happened?" He cracked sitting down against the wall, resting before what would seem like his match.
----------- Mei walked over to her squad. "Congratulations gu-" She stopped. Her eyes grew big and watery as she heard what Haru said. Death took a hold of a great shinobi, and now the whole team will have to burden with it. She grabbed Haru and Dargan, hugging them with comfort and sorrow. The tears and sobs exploded from her, and it was clear that she was probably the loudest in the room. Losing Nahoko was like losing one of her four children.
Head held up high, RInji strode into the stadium in confidence, his left pocket was filled with the scorched forehead protector of an enemy and the boy subconsciously patted at it. Radiating pride, the genin bounded through the crowd of genins and shot up the stairs to the stadium’s viewing seats, trying to find his jonin squad leader, He was so close to becoming a chuunin – the excitement of it dizzied him. The sharp scent of blood suddenly hit his nose and he was suddenly aware that others had died. The young boy turned his head sharply, his powder blue eyes rounded with concern.
Ren stumbled into the stadium, the weight of a dead teammate pressuring on her thin spine. She bore a lost, confused expression on her visage. The chuunin exams weren’t fun anymore – she only wanted to be in the comforts of home. The Yukigakure genin could make the outlines of other deceased genins, and her chest tightened at the sight of one anguished team that seemed to be enveloped in grief. Nobody was crying like that for Kokone. And Ren was to fight these grieving teammates in the next stage of the exams. The thrill of becoming a chuunin had paled in comparison, collapsing upon itself.
Miki sat quietly within the viewing area of the stadium. Straight-postured and slightly frowning, it was never more evident that her physical presence had no bearing on her emotional withdrawal. Students with names unknown to her filed slowly into the pitch, some with victorious faces and others appearing forlorn. Dead corpses were limply dragged along; one jonin was grossly sobbing with her team, and the only expression that the Kumogakure jonin showed was a slow blink. She waited for the appearance of her own team, her expression deadpan despite their tardiness.
There was no mistaking that arrogant stance or the regal tilt of his head. Up within the seating, Orochi tipped his head, scanning the mass of genins for his own squad. Sitting beside him, in fact warmly pressing beside him, was Hina. Her soft hand was clasped in the Kirigakure jonin’s, her neck marred and blessed with love bites. “There they are.” The male nodded towards the direction of his apprentices. Narrowing his amber eyes, they all seemed fine, with of the exception of Rikuto who was stirring drearily. His heart thumped against his chest, but the jonin realized that nothing was wrong – his student was only tired. He took a hand and shook out his sleep-flattened hair, breathing a comforting sigh. “Safe.” Full of egotism and lively vigour, he only took a deadpan facade during his duties.
Hina gave the Kirigakure jonin a tender look. “As expected of your students, my dear.” She softly cooed like a pigeon, playing with Orochi’s ruffled hair with her fingers. The metallic stench of blood suddenly swamped her senses, and she abruptly whipped her head to the source of the detestable odor. Coffee-brown eyes squinted to see 1... 2... 3 dead bodies dragged into the stadium. “Why couldn’t they just leave the bodies on the island?!” She snapped irritably, rising to full height and sweeping past her new lover. He looked unsurprised by Hina’s rapid change of attitude. The lavender-haired woman fell gracefully into the knot of students, performing the body flicker. She noted the pale faces of the dead, flipping through her clipboard and scribbling notes on several different pages. From a pocket on her Sunagakure flak jacket, she drew out a long scroll. “Bring your dead teammates here.” She stated clearly, dropping her gaze and double checking her clipboard of the listed dead. The still-bleeding corpses would be sealed within the scroll with a fuuinjutsu for easy transportation. The pretty jonin deeply misread the tension in the air, continuing matter-of-factly, “There’s no need to worry. A third isn’t needed for this part of the exams.” Hina swallowed against the rank odor, her lip curling as she continued, “We’ll incinerate the dead for you.”
Orochi sat back in his seat, moving his gaze from Hina and onto the corpses. He recognized the sweet-faced genin of Konohagakure, a mousy female from Yukigakure, and... Poor Eiko. There was the young body of Liom, a fellow member of Kirigakure. The male was given the image of wilted flowers. But, that was life. Here one day and gone the next. Sympathy flashed through him, muscles tensing with regret as he hadn’t gone to see his students sooner. The jonin lifted himself out of his seat, moving towards the hall of where his genins had taken refuge. “Are you alright? Do you guys need anything? A medic-nin?” He voiced his concern once reaching the three genins.

Ashley would stand around, waiting for her group to arrive into the stadium. "I wonder if they are OK, or if for that matter even passed what they had to do...I hope so, because they have too much potential to be losing now." Ashley would say, noticing Mei crying loudly, as she saw Haru carrying a dead body. Her eyes would widen a bit, this was Haru's first death that he had ever saw. She would run over. "Haru-Kun......I'm sorry you had to see that. Same for your teammate." Ashley would say, joining in the hug. "I know how hard it is." She said tearing up a bit, feeling for them.
Dargan would start to cry loudly again as Mei started to cry loudly. "Mei-sensei.....She was one of my best friends! Her and Haru are my friends! Why did she have to die?! Why is this world so dark and cruel!?" Dargan would say, as he heard Ashley and felt her come over to hug them. "Ashley-sensei...." He would say, having met her quite a few times while hanging out with Haru. "Our teammate...just died...." He said, stating the obvious.
"I know it must be hard...but you have to stay strong. I know it's a strong burden to bear....I been through it many times. I know it may put more weight onto you two....but you two should try your best to get through, to avenge her death and not let it go to waste." She would say, tightening her grip.
Arms crossed Yuki would walk over to Soren and Armod with a small smirk on his face. "Good job. Glad you guys made it." He said with a nod of the head, happy that his team was able to pass through the second part of the exams with what appeared to be no problem.
To see even Mei break down about Nahako's death brought an even greater burden of the death onto Haru. From everything that he had seen of Mei, she was a strong woman and yet even she had been overcome by this. " I'm sorry Mei-sensei....She sacrificed herself to save us in the forest..." He says explaining what had gone on in the forest of the island turtle, laying her body down.
Kurono could see just how deeply that this experience had affected Haru in spite of the fact that he didn't let it show and walks over, hugging him. " It's alright, Haru. You don't have to hold it all in just to be strong. You're a ninja, but you're still human." She says in a motherly tone, knowing just how it was that he felt right then. She knew that this was Haru's first encounter with the death of someone very close to him and that it was a very traumatic experience, especially for someone of his age. " It's never easy to lose someone close to you."
Hearing the responses that he had gotten from both of his mothers, tears begin to well up in his eyes. " Okaasan...Ashley-okaasan..." He says as tears begin to fall from his eyes as he stops trying to hide the sadness of Nahako's death. It was painful to know that there was nothing that they could have done for her and it made him feel so helpless in the grand scheme of things However, he knew that in spite of all that had happened, he'd have to carry on. Otherwise her sacrifice would have been for nothing.
