Clan information
Clan Name: Hayashi
Age: 1000+ years
Village: Takigakure
History:
Their last name suggests that they may have been originally of Mori no Kuni or even Hi no Kuno origin, as it literally means 'forest'. But that is of no matter, as they are now in Takigakure in large numbers and are fiercely loyal of their peaceful country.
Members are taught to respect authority, to withhold family honour, learn their specialized genjutsu skills and most of all to completely harness the power of their bijuaru ishindenshin.
Bijuaru ishindenshin has no traceable history, but the oldest records of a a shinobi with such ocular power stretches back to an ancient scroll in Hi no Kuni. The development of foresty genjutsu did not arrive until recent history, around 200 years ago by one Hayashi member who exceeded in creating new genjutsu techniques. The Hayashi Clan is a peaceful one, and was only involved in wars that they were personally interested in.
They found partnership with the Anari Clan around 700 years ago, and the two clans have been deeply woven since.
The current leader of the Hayashi Clan is Hane's grand-uncle, with his niece (Hane's aunt) as second in command.
Clan Specialty/Kekkei Genkai
Name: Visual telepathy - 'Bijuaru ishindenshin'
Description:
The Hayashi Clan's main kekkei genkai is a supplementary technique, where the Clan member is able to see far into periphery vision (60/20 eyesight) - whether it is their own or another person's (as long as they're in a medium distance of 60 meters). When in use, the colour of their eyes shift from coal black to steely gray.
It is helpful for finding the general area of where an opponent is hiding. The jutsu does not takeover the mind of the opponent, it only allows the user to see a quick glimpse into their opponent's vision. When it is employed, the opponent has dizzy vision for a second. Despite this, the Hayashi Clan still has the 100 degree angle of vision found in all humans. It is mainly used in the Haya - Ana formation, as the Ana Clan features blind shinobi. The Anari Clan allows the Hayashi Clan to enter their eyes to help in battle, and the Hayashi Clan is able to see despite the host's blindness.
The Hayashi Clan is also to send one another messages through images, but it only works with other members of the Hayashi Clan. The images sent to one another are of real items or settings - meaning that they can't trick one another. Drains their chakra significantly by 20% every time they use this.
Other than their ocular talents, they are quite adept at genjutsu techniques in addition. The Hayashi Clan, as their name suggests, also created several genjutsu techniques that feature foresty themes. The woodland-themed genjutsus are not limits of their bloodlines, they may be learned by outsiders or those with sharingan, but their secrets are deeply hidden by the Hayashi Clan. Their genjutsu is strong enough to not be broken by a simple statement of 'kai'.
